​Estefania Morales

I am Estefania Morales, a recent graduate from California State University, Fullerton. Ever since I studied abroad, I’ve had a huge appreciation for the travel industry. My passion in event management is what also fueled me to complete my Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a concentration in Entertainment and Tourism Studies. I am an achiever, an individual who doesn't stop until goals are met.

 

I just returned from Europe, where I had one of the most valuable experiences interning in Barcelona, Spain. This internship gave me the opportunity to learn about international business, marketing, and partnership communication. Since I worked under little supervision, it was essential to have self-initiative,  great customer service skills, and be able to thrive under deadlines. All of these skills which I possessed. My adaptability and positivity helped me succeed in this internship. 

 

As a four year member of Alpha Chi Omega, I was able to obtain and excel in multiple leadership roles. While serving as Vice President of Risk Management, I was responsible for conducting safety presentations, organizing contracts, and overseeing the planning of events to ensure they complied with safety regulations. This position also required me to quickly and creatively find solutions to risk-related issues. When I was the fundraising chair, I planned an auction event, set up a donation website, and held restaurant fundraisers. This allowed me to raise over $10,000 for two philanthropies, Victims of Domestic Violence and Camp Titan for California State University, Fullerton. When I held the position of Vice President of Recruitment, my duties consisted of budgeting, holding committee meetings, designing recruitment training seminars, and planning a three-day recruitment event. Through these leadership roles, I strengthened my management, teamwork, time management, and communication skills.

 

I am extremely driven to perform to the best of my abilities in everything I do. Being a fast learner has allowed me to easily adapt myself to the workplace and my job promotions show that. I'm committed to completing any task at the highest standard.
